Join us for a free community event on Wed, Jun 11, 2025 at 12pm EST / 9am PST! We will be hosting a short documentary screening of TEDDY, featuring BADT Educator Teddy Gant (he/him). Teddy is a full spectrum doula who has been serving the Houston Community for 5 years.

"TEDDY is a verité portrait of a male birth doula working to improve birth outcomes for Black women in Houston, Texas. A security guard by day, Timothy Gant Jr. trained to become a doula after hearing about his own mother's birth story as a child. As a doula working predominantly with Black women, Timothy helps his clients achieve a positive, safe, and empowering birth on their terms."
